Brake booster

I want to add a brake booster to my 1980 F-100. I have a slightly newer F-150 parts truck with a booster. I assume this is a fairly easy thing to do. It looks like I can just unbolt booster and attach it to the firewall and master cylinder of the f-100 and hook up vaccum line? Just thought I should check too see if there is anything I should know before doing this. Thnx

It's pretty much that simple except you'll need the master cylinder push rod from the power brake truck as well.

You will have to get a different Master cylinder. Power ones are different, at least according to the parts stores..

Just use the booster and MC both from the donor truck.

I was gonna say that, but it slipped my mind!. it'll be easier to bleed if it still has fluid in it..

I was just going to use the MC currently on my truck, but if they are different it would make sense, and I will take both off the donor.
Thanks again.

they are, the pushrod from a manual goes directly on the brake pedal I believe.
