Back Up Camera Advice

I'm too old, my back is stiff and my neck doesn't swivel like it used to. I 'm planning on adding an after market back up camera that will assist in lining up the fifth wheel hitch when hooking up as well as avoiding pedestrians and vehicles that suddenly appear in back of the truck. I can mount it above the license plate or on the third light fixture on the rear of the cab. Any advice is appreciated.

Mounted on the license plate gives good perspective on distance to objects. Walls, hitch, etc. Expect that up high would create a blind spot where the tailgate blocks vision.

I put one of these on my '01 and have been very happy with it. I also installed the rear view mirror from them that dims, has outside temp/compass, and displays the backup camera.
