Running cable from the batt.
I want to run an 8au cable from the batt into the cab (for a distribution block) but was wondering if anyone found any knock-outs int he firewall or any otehr way to make this an easy process as I hate penetrating firewalls.
I will also need to run 4 thick cables form the bed and 2 from the front later on...but the power cable is the important one now.
Any ideas, tips, tricks?

There may be an existing grommet that you can force a wire thru. You can buy a plastic grommet that will fit a 3/4 hole. I would not connect right at the battery because of corrosion and terminal headaches. Connect where the + cable goes to.

yeah, I have done many many installs...so I have gomets and whatnot, but sometimes I get lucky in certain vehicles and find a route tht requires little work.
Any idea the best place to drill?
