I wouldn't think the F350 would need a governor, more applicable is I think it would've been whats called the 'teapot' 4bbl, not a very successful carburetor, very short lived. I'd replace it with a Carter unless you go with an adapter and use a 'modern' Edelbrock.

I think im going to go with this 450 cfm quick fuel carb https://www.holley.com/products/fuel...arts/SL-450-VS . the engine currently has an adapter to go from a 4 barrel to a 2 barrel with what looks like a holley 2100 on it
