292 hd 4 barrel?
is the 4 barrel intake off of a heavy duty 292 good to use for a mildly modded 292 y block? going in a 60 f350

Check if for carb fit and see if it has a governor under the carb.

what will the governor look like? the engine is currently in a c600 cabover with a wrecker body on it and i cant get the cab up right now

I wouldn't think the F350 would need a governor, more applicable is I think it would've been whats called the 'teapot' 4bbl, not a very successful carburetor, very short lived. I'd replace it with a Carter unless you go with an adapter and use a 'modern' Edelbrock.

I think im going to go with this 450 cfm quick fuel carb https://www.holley.com/products/fuel...arts/SL-450-VS . the engine currently has an adapter to go from a 4 barrel to a 2 barrel with what looks like a holley 2100 on it

The factory intake that you want is ECZ 9425-B. I think that is what an HD engine would have.

the engine is a 1962 so it should have the better manifold
