2007 F250 FX4 Shock Replacements?
It's probably about time that shocks on my 2007 F250 FX4 need replacing. It currently has Rancho shocks. I was thinking of using Bilstein 4600s but the 5100s seem to be more popular. The trouble is they only come in lifted lengths. My truck is at stock height and I would like to keep it that way. Ride comfort matters most to me. I use the truck to occasionally tow a travel trailer. Any suggestions on what shocks to use?

My understanding is the 4600 and 5100 are basically the same with the 5100 being for lifted trucks and the 4600 for stock.
Personally, I went with some Rancho RS9000XL series because they're easily adjustable. I haven't run them for very long yet, but I'm happy with them so far. I can have them softer when I'm empty and crank them up when I'm loaded up.

That's a good question.
I ordered set of OEM replacements from Detroit axel. They seem kinda wimpy for my 4x4 dually. And were around $100 for the set. I'm not so sure I made the right purchase. Picked up their front end rebuild kit also. 12 piece. While I was at it. Saw many youtubers liking the bilstiens. But as a youtuber myself not sure if sponsered or free equipment was sent.
