So I crashed my 01 7.3 and bent the frame a bit and there was a small fire. So I decided to buy a blown motor 06 f350 lariat ccsb and swap in the 7.3. So as of today got the motor built and installed Dieselsite legendary 4r in and most of the wiring done. I can get the engine to crank and fuel pump is going, I rated diesel full fuel system. My hydra comes on like normal. WTS light and battery light come on and wts goes off like normal. None of the gauges move at all. I’ve re wired the parts of the interior harness that were melted. I have everything for the engine plugged in except one plug I can’t figure out what it goes to. It comes of the same wiring branch as the obd2 sensor and looks like it’s for the barometric. But I thought 01 7.3 it was in the pcm. Any help on if I need this plugged in, what it’s for, or if anything else might be stopping the engine from turning over. I’ve primed the oil and done the whole cranking process and nothing. Thank you 4 pin plug that goes to the gauge cluster and the 3 plugs connecting the engine harness to interior.
Ok so just an accessory. Thank you. Still curious if any one has any idea on the crank no start no codes wts comes on goes off. Also not seeing any movement out of gauges when start position or cranking.
it worked perfect in the truck before. I stored it in my basement in a box for a year so i wouldn’t think anything would have happened to it. The lights are dim besides the wts battery and the water in fuel and cel when they come on with key in start pos than go off
