lol, well compared to my '90 v6 cougar with no mods, whatever you got is faster than mines. i would love the same car with a v8, but the body and interior and body is so well kept on my car, i cant see myself starting from scratch. it would be nice to drop the xr7 or supercoupe turbo v6 in it, but i read that i would have tons of work as far as wiring harness and stuff like that.
i come to this forum because you guys know what you are talking about. so for now im stuck with a very good looking car that is underpowered. any sugestions on getting more horse out of my v6 would be a plus for me.

Nah, we just guess really well.
Horses for a Cougar 6 eh? I dunno, I've never hoped a car up before. I would think the same as a truck though...your basic bolt on mods, a tuner/chip, stuff like that.

How do you know?! HAVE YOU EVER TRIED IT?! Yea, didn't think so. Also, make sure you use American...not Swiss...more muscle from the American cheese.
no, no, no, the chili goes into the gas tank. That stuff gets my butt moving, so why wouldn't it work for a car or truck? What engine exactly is in the cougar? The mods are pretty straightforward: intake, exhaust, chip, advance timing (if you have a distributor), whatever other bolt-on mids you can find. All depends on time, ability to install, and depth of pocketbook.
the V6 mustangs use the same engine as your cougar. You can find tons of stuff for it on mustang sites. Just make sure that you get it from a mustang of about the same year. I don't know what changes have been made to that engine since 1990.
