New order
Order confirmation on July 2, still haven’t received my vin yet on my super duty!!! Have talked to Betty at the 800 number my dealership has supposedly talked to the higher ups a few weeks ago and still nothing! Starting to get very frustrated any input from you guys!??? Thanks

350 platinum crew cab short bed, 7.3 we took the bed liner off 6 months ago and all the gooseneck stuff almost a month ago now!!! I have seen quite a few other people pretty well the same truck ordered after me and took delivery already???

Thats your mistake!!! You should not have touched the order last month, as it puts the order to the back of the line. When a change is made to an order it is removed from the queue, and resubmitted and the order date is changed to the date the change was made, or the last date an order can be placed, which is April 1. Once Ford deleted the MC seats in the Platinum, I could care less when the truck is actually built and changed the order to a Lariat Ultimate with the same options that come standard on the Platinum and knocked $2K off the price. Its now at the end of the queue once again, if it gets built, great, if not, Oh well.

With all the delays? yep, could be you will be kicked into 23 MY production considering they only are building 3500 units in June instead of the normal 15,000. I noticed the scheduled thread was quite weak following Thursday when new schedules are announced, not many got emails with build dates or a VIN. makes me wonder what August productions will be as I think they already have scheduled all the July stuff.

Not necessarily. I'm not so sure that simply removing an option changes anything. There have been others, like yourself, who removed the same options out of fear for delays, they were scheduled shortly after making the change. Coincidence maybe, but to me that shows that removal of certain options may not make a difference in your queue.
