Was just wondering if anyone has experience with those cheap fuel filter kits on Amazon . I've also been afraid to try them. Can anyone say whether they have good or bad luck with them?
I second that! The billionaire in space (space rides for the 1%'ers) doesn't need any of my money. Find it local and support your town.....if you can....
So you can get name-brand ford filters on eBay or amazon .. if you don't want to shop there I don't blame you but your argument that you would not get a filter from them does not stand ( for quality reasons ) . Now What I was asking is the cheap Chinese filters ( regardless of where you buy them ) . Has anyone had good luck with them or a bad experience with them?
thanks
Likely the OEM is made in the same cheap factory as the cheap filter. I always go by the review count on amazon then cross reference part to cheapest website. That has been a pretty good strategic for me.
My buddy uses the cheaper filters on his truck. Seem to work as well as the Motorcraft ones i buy. i set them side by side and i see really no difference other than the plastic casing itself seems to be more shiny. Other than that the physical size and measurements seem identical. However the filter media has a bright white color where the Motorcraft is the more yellowish paper color. But he said he doesnt have any problems
