Holley Identification

I recently purchased a 75' truck with a Holley carburetor. I am wanting to order a manual on how to tune and rebuild it. I have no idea what it is. I looked around on Holley's web site and found where they list the models by part number but am not sure where to find the part number.

On the top right corner of the intake horn it says " list 6919" and below it it says "1198". If the 6919 is the part number Holley lists a 0-6919 as a model 4160 - 600 cfm. Is this correct or am I looking in the wrong place? It is on 390 engine.

Also the 1198 is suppose to be some kind of date code. Any idea what the 1198 would be? It is not November of 1998 because this carburetor has been on the truck since the early 80's according to the previous owner.

0-6919 is a universal early model Ford replacement carb. It has an electric choke, Ford kickdown lever, and it is a 600 cfm vacuum secondary 4160.
These are good carbs. I don not think that they make them anymore, but if you go thru Holley's website under Carbs and numerical listings, it will tell you what jets, power valve, etc. that it came with originally.

Thanks for the info. So the "list 6919" on the top of it is the part number cool. I will probably be going in for an I/M test in a day or two so I am hoping that they will feel that it is a Ford replacement also. I don't feel like changing it to a factory 2 barrel just to suit them. I am not wanting to tell them that it is a 390 either since it is suppose to have a 360 in it although there is not a sticker on the valve cover to say anything either way.

The choke has a power wire to it and a ground but it also has a tube from the exhaust manifold. Is the electric part to open and close it and the stove pipe there to tell it when to open? I always thought there were manual, electric and the stovepipe ones why does it have both?

The electric is to help heat it up and open it faster. To keep emissions lower.
