problems accelerating

my truck wont get above 65 in 4th and 5th just looses speed what are some common problems that could be causing this?

Oi vey....are you getting a CEL? A flashing CEL?

You have to at least try to pull codes regardless, both saved and pending.

Worn out spark plugs cause that with no codes sometimes
An EGR system with a sticking valve can cause it
Weak valve springs with a zillion miles?
Pull the codes
Test the fuel pressure
Tune it up
Replace all the filters
