Lost chip

I lost my chip for my anti theft system. Is there a way to replace the chip? Or bypass the system? Or even take it out completely?

Need more info. What year and model? Is the device a FORD product or an aftermarket unit. If aftermarket you will need to contact the manufacturer. What do you mean by "CHIP" ? A chip is normally an electronic device that is soldered on a curcuit board.

That looks like an aftermarket transponder system?

I had one on an '03 Suburban, it came that way from a PO. There was just a large yellow wire in the steering column wiring they had interrupted to install it. I removed any aftermarket wiring and spliced the factory wires back together-- DONE.

Obviously Ford wiring colors will be different

That is aftermarket
Simply remove it and re hook up the wires they cut to install it
The rest of the wires you can just pull the scotch locks they used
