Econoline Interchangable windshields
Econoline Interchangable windshields
I have a 1987 Econoline. And it is in need of a new wieldshield.
BOth 1987 and 1990 year makes are in the 3rd generation catagory...I'm assuming same body style,deminsions,etc..
Will a 1990 windshield work as a replacement in a 1987?????

Thanks RLXXI---I'll do what I can!
My NAGS numbering show windshields from 1975 up to 1991 will physically fit.
BTW I don't use this "generation" BS---such parts are referenced by the year of the body. There might be subtle differences that the customer should know about to make their best choice. Typically the latest versions tend to be readily available--in this the NAGS number would be DW00837GBN which has the dark band of color across the top, aka "shaded".
Today these are installed using urethane adhesive as its more readily available, a better product and somehat easier to use for technicians not accustomed to butyl tape as a sealant/adhesive.
