Washing between cab and bed

I have some long term grime between them. Pressure washer doesn't get it and my hands & arms are too big. What do others do? 2006 F350 crew cab

I've had multiple trucks and have never washed between the bed and the cab.

I go to those do it yourself car washing bays that have high pressure washers with soap. I don't really concentrate on that space, but those high pressure nozzles with the soap should be strong enough to get most anything clean between the cab/bed.

What about using a swiffer mop type deal back there to apply direct pressure? Not sure if it is low profile enough or not.

I get junk behind headache racks

I usually grab a windshield brush and scrub it around while running water over it (I have them laying around because trucks in Minnesota)

Careful to use the ones with plastic so you don't scratch

Good luck

Small diameter cord with a towel on it. Tedious, two person job. Low cost, easy to assemble.

Get some degreaser or whatever you want to use, spray it real good across the back of the cab, let it run down and let it soak for 5 or 10 minutes, then take a power washer and blast it off. If it's really heavy grime it may take 2 or 3 times to get it completely off.

+1. It works pretty good. I have a recenlty purchased 45 year old John Deere hay mower that has a compartment for the machinery, and it was coated with grease and gunk 1/2" thick in places. I sprayed it well with Gunk degreaser, used 3 cans on it, emptied the first can, let it soak in, emptied the second can, let it soak in, then hit heavy spots with the third can and a wetting spray over the rest and powerwashed it. Took everything except the really chunky 20 year old grease clumps out.

Downside, it strips any oils off, so go over it with a wash wax afterwards.

I use a old broom/mop handle with a old towel taped to it.
I just dip it in the wash bucket and wash what I can reach

A few months ago I had the bed off of my 2001, only soaped and pressure washed previously. While the bed was off I took the opportunity to soap and water with a rag and then wax everything. I just always have and will continue to give it a good pressure rinse and use rags as well as I can. Never have had issues this way.

I do get under the truck about once a year and use a pressure washer to give the belly a good cleaning, maybe that helps the between cab and bed some. Definitely a messy job but it keeps the road grime down to a minimum when working on the truck.
