turbo upgrade?

turbo upgrade?
Hey all, I have a 94 450 with the idi 7.3, and both of my exhaust manifolds are cracked and need replaced....I figure now is the time to consider putting a turbo on the truck. Before I pull the trigger on parts, I have (what I figure) 2 options:
1- buy stock replacement manifolds and an aftermarket turbo kit
Or
2- find a donor powerstroke and convert over (is that even possible?)
What say you? Pros? Cons?

Ironically enough, I'm the machinist at a weld shop, but for the price of replacement, repair isn't worth the time....go figure

So a turbo upgrade turned out to be not worth the cost or hassle, so I'm just replacing the manifolds....thanks all for the replies
