Hesitation

Recently had to put a windshield washer pump in that required removing the right side battery on my 2005 F250 6.0 diesel. Upon completion of that job and every thing hokked up i had a slight hesitation. Then everything was fine. I don't use the truck much. A week later after a trip to town when stopping at a traffic light the truck did nothing with pressing on the pedal. It was still running but nothing making the engine go. I held the pedal down all the way and it eventually started working.
Did something need to be reset or checked after disconnecting that battery?

Just basics I guess, but make sure you didn't accidentally disconnect something?

I went back and tightened the two batter connections and the two leads to the positive side. Guess Ill have to do a test drive to see if it happens again.
