2020 SD. Found this in my upper glove box while changing cabin air filter ( mouse damage.) Owners manual indicates that the three black connectors are to be used when removing the tailgate. Are the other two connectors used when installing a cap? If so how? where?
I've got exact same things in my glove box. + something

This other item is just a tube of sort. May 1/2" diameter and 3 or 3 1/2" long. No idea what it could go to either

The lower bag is a bushing to use in your receiver to bring down a 3/4” pin hole in a 3” shank hitch to likely the 5/8 pin hole in the receiver. The plastic caps the op is referring to are used to cap the wires when you remove the tailgate.
