Paint for gear shift indicator?
On my '78 F250 I want to paint the automatic transmission gear shift indicator letters on the steering column. Any recommendations on a paint to use would be appreciated. Thank you folks, your experience, expertise, & encouragement are vital to my finishing this project!!!

Another option- they do make a re-pop of the shift indicator if you want the easy button or if you make a mess painting like I usually do:

I have not looked at a 78-79 one, but pretty sure the actual indicator is clear. I know they are on the 73-77. I converted mine to a blue LED bub to match the dash. If memory serves, there is a filter over the bulb just like in the dash.
