A little help please, I'ved look on Carpenters, Mid Fifty and others. At one time someone carried a cab vent delete kit, I have '55 and wanting to do this. Can anyone remember where and the correct terminology for this. Thank you, L8R ZFLASH
The last slant cab cowl vent that I filled I used the OEM vent. I cut off all the screen, etc from the vent which left just the skin. I found that a 1/4 inch square rod was a perfect filler for the front lip. I added some rod to fill the gaps on the sides and then welded it up. Here is a pic of what it looked like with everything tacked in place...
