Cab vent delete

A little help please, I'ved look on Carpenters, Mid Fifty and others. At one time someone carried a cab vent delete kit, I have '55 and wanting to do this. Can anyone remember where and the correct terminology for this. Thank you, L8R ZFLASH

Are you talking about the cowl vent or the fresh air louvres on the right side..?

The fresh air vent sitting right in the middle of cab and windshield, where the handle is under the dash. Thank you

Use it as a patch, that's what I did to my panel, pickup and the one I'm working on now. I remove the screen from them before welding them in..

I think I did see a patch panel for it on Midfifty's site.. but you already have one with the vent..

The last slant cab cowl vent that I filled I used the OEM vent. I cut off all the screen, etc from the vent which left just the skin. I found that a 1/4 inch square rod was a perfect filler for the front lip. I added some rod to fill the gaps on the sides and then welded it up. Here is a pic of what it looked like with everything tacked in place...
