Anyone know the location of this critter. I saw somewhere it is behind the radio. While that would be a totally asinine place to put
it, nothing surprises me any more
Fuel pump relay moved to the CJB effective with the 02 model year for ALL Super Duty vehicles as part of a very significant electrical systems redesign.
Of course, they did another asinine thing by having it soldered onto the main board so it's not a plug and play swap.
I found a video of a guy changing the fuse relay which was in a small black box up against the driver sidewall.I had picked up the fuel relay already. I opened that box and it was there. I changed it and I have no error codes. Maybe for once I got lucky
BTW-after replacing the vacuum line coming from under the frame to the vapor cannister and the fuel pump relay,
I am now getting about 1 mile per gallon more

Have no idea what you replaced (or why) since there's no such thing as a "fuse relay" used in these trucks, but it wasn't the fuel pump relay you asked about. Also, there's no vacuum line that runs to the fuel pump relay.
