There are two lines at KTP, each line produces 44 vehicles per hour. One line is Super Duty, the other is Excursion and Super Duty (I think)
The 2 lines together can produce up to 1300 vehicles per day. I don't know how many shifts in a day.
It takes 33 hours to build a Super Duty from start to finish. It's pretty clear where "finish" is, but exactly what or where start is, that's a bit ambiguous.
If 1300 Super Dutys per day is appropriate maximum capacity....What is the current average trucks / day?
Curious if the line (Kentucky Truck Plant) is able to run fairly steady these days? Or if the run rate is all over the place due to various part shortages?

Shortages are killing them...everything is pretty much day of arrival for parts...scheduling is done months in advance appropriate parts are booked and sent from suppliers...eg if your truck is scheduled to be built on say Wednesday...your axel are coming in Monday....if that suppliers having issues your truck is pulled from the schedule...and the process starts over...if it's a minor part issue that can be put on after the build ...its built and put aside in a yard till it can be completed....
