Had a little mishap Friday with my 22 f350 platinum
Forgot I left tailgate down and when hooked to my excised tailed and turning to sharp she pinched with the trailer
crinkled the corner over and it left a ding on the curved part
Also the hinge at bottom crinkled the shell
looking to find just the aluminum shell possibly and have it painted and all my hardware swapped over
morning wonder if I can get one painted
any help would be amazing
I have a tailgate shell from a 2021 King Ranch. The color is Rapid Red. Outer skin is perfect with just some scrapes & scratches on the inside surface from normal use. It has has the hole for the pop-out step (not included). I bought it last year after damaging mine with my 5th wheel. The step was jammed and I assumed there was hidden damage. Turns out I was easily able to fix mine so I didn’t use this one.
I am located on the west side of Michigan. I have a factory shipping box for it but I imagine shipping would be expensive. Let me know if you’re interested and I’ll take some pictures.

of this is the same as mine?
ford logo in the corner?
I’ve seen a good number of Oxford White new take off gates for $500 or less. Bought mine from a forum member for $300, as new, even had bedliner oem sprayed on the inside panel. Also, I’d do some minor repairs on the damaged unit & use it when doing rugged work.
