I am moving to another state and took my truck for inspection and failed because of the tint on my windows. I could someone tell me the best way to take the tint off my windows? Thank you.
I have used a kit similar to this one in the past. Just be careful with the razor blade/scraper to not scratch the window. Getting a corner started with the blade and then spraying the adhesive removal spray liberally and moving slowly should allow you to remove the tint in large sheets.

This is exactly what I just did on an '89 K2500. Used the same product, it's got great reviews on Amazon.
However, in this case I was removing a literal meth head DIY job that never appeared to have adhered all that well anyhow....so that may have made the job easier for me
Use a hair drier and a razor blade. Heat the film, then peel a corner with the razor. After that just heat and peel, usually it comes right off. If it tears just use the razor to peel it again. I used to remove and reapply my tint every year for inspection. Look into getting a tint waiver if your state has that. You probably just need to get a Dr to write you a note, at least that's how it works here.
