Newbie to the forum, (but good with all things diesel) just wanted to stop in and say hello to everyone out here. I recently picked up my now third 6.9L idi f250 with the manual 4 speed trans and 4x4 drive train. She's definitely an older beast
(She's got 126,419 miles on her) but has plenty of power, no leaks, does not burn oil and runs great. Sheesh probably going to get the whole lower right and left side of rockers on cab replaced and been rebuilding the steel flatbed deck and adding led markers as i go. Good tires just now getting front hubs replaced this weekend.

Welcome aboard, hope you enjoy it here. Older Ford diesel trucks are a favorite of mine.

Thanks, yep this old girl still looks, sounds, smells great when she is fired up. Noticed she hesitates a bit to fire over when i first start her so probably time for fresh glow plugs but other than that she is clean, solid, no blowby, great compression, and lots of power. I've had 2 other 6.9L idi diesel trucks and one 7.3L idi as well. I always have had a love for the old sturdy trucks. Going to be constantly adding new and better things to the girl as i go.
