I used the parking brake today for the first time in a while on my 21 F-350 6.7 CC SRW 6.5.
When I disengage the brake, the brake released, however I still get the parking brake engaged warning message and chime.
The chime will go for approximately 10-20 minutes then turn off. If I hit a bump in the road the warning will go off and continue for another 10-20 minutes.
I suspect there is a loose wiring connector, however I’m not sure which one to check.
Does this sound like a loose connection and if so which one should I check?
See if you can pull up on the pedal while pulling the release then check to see if the light goes off,........ sounds like the pedal is not returning all the way and not canceling out the switch.

or maybe just push it on and pop it off a couple times
I tried pushing it and popping it off a dozen times and that didn’t work, but if I kick up on the pedal the warning goes away. Thanks for the suggestion. I had a 6 hour drive and that chime was getting annoying. Will have the dealer look at it this week.
