2011 Ranger tail gate compatibility

I have a 2011 Ford Ranger. White in color, and rusty. Looking to replace it. What years are compatible with the 2011? I have not found a definitive answer on this yet.

I don't think the box design changed after 1998. You can search for local used tailgates on car-part.com

I think any 3rd generation(98+) gate is an exact fit.

93-12 will fit as long as it's a fleetside and not a stepside. 06-12 have different Ford logo and ranger emblems.
