Sloppy shifter
I have a 96 f150. I can't get it into park. Reverse is park.My buddy just looked at it quick. He said it's a shifter tube is broke. Has anyone had this happen to them? How did you fix it . Thx in advance.

I had really sloppy shifter on 95 Econoline van and tightening two small bolts near shifter base fixed it. I think they were Torx but been awhile not sure.

ya the 2 that are above the brake pedal. It was dark last night and today I seen a bolt on the floor and that's what it was. Thank You.
