1997 ford ranger ?

I have a 1997 ford ranger 4x4 with a 3.0 and 4r44e transmission I was wondering what I would have to do to replace it with a 4r55e being the 4r44e is so hard to find used

Try searching for a used transmission on "car-part.com" The 4R44E was used from 1995 to 2001. Should be some out there.
