I’ve been looking to this forum for years and never started a profile……. Figured it was time!!!!!!!! I need help bad with the 400 motor. I’ve owned fords my whole life give er take a few cars and such, and have never had problems because just like any car really as long as you have an older one lol and as long as you do scheduled maintenance, it will basically run until you let something go…. That being said I got this cherry 78 F-350 that has 47k original on it. I know I didn’t believe It till I seen for myself. Got the records and all for the custom 350 welder for a farm in Peyton Colorado. This rich *** kid that owns, get this, a performance diesel shop got lucky enough to come across an 11k welder on the back of a truck that was being sold for 6k. I was the only person that came to look at the truck for disbelief it was a scam haha. I couldn’t count the money fast enough ($2,500 by the way) because some of the trim in this thing is worth that to some people. Still to the day I dknt know how he , being an owner of a mechanic shop, didn’t know he was sitting on a gold mine…. But I digress. Is the anyone located in the Pueblo Colorado Springs greater area that would help me remove a 460 with 66k original miles lol and install it on the ole girl? Thank you for ready this long *** thread and I promise I haven’t typed anything this long since high school 25 years ago pololol. Any help in the right direction would be appreciated
