I'm looking for the schematic for a 2018 F-150 door mirrors. Mine has a 22 pin plug. The passenger side turn signal in the mirror isn't working. I find it hard to believe that it is actually went out being LED but anything's possible. I want to start by checking power to the signal but need to know the pins without going through the whole thing finding if there is one that comes on and drops out over and over with the signal on.
I got to looking at the diagrams, these newer trucks are not as simple as you think. Apparently you have a communication module in each door. When you put the turnsignal switch to the right or left, that is just a switch that grounds a input on a module in the steering column. This steering column module communicates to all the other modules in the truck to activate their respective lights if that is their job. So the module in the door receives the command and it activates it's proper output to turn the light on.
From the diagram below, looks like the pass side light is on a blue/grey wire. The 2nd diagram shows the module communication network (a small portion of it).
Thanks Franklin. Yeah, not as simple as I thought, but not the worst. Especially being an LED it could be much more simple. Those things pull nothing for amperage and you can change colors and function with simple resistors and/or diodes. This will definitely help.
