query about the ford everest.
Hi,
I'm located in the asian region, where the SUV - Ford Everest is available. I'm planning to buy one...I've heard some facts about it..but I'm still a little confused about the type of transmission offered by its models. A friend of mine visited a dealership and was told that for all the models of the everest, only Manual transmission was offered. I read an article though that said automatic transmission was offered by the 4x4 model of the everest so is it me,did I not understand the article I read, or does the ford everest actually offer automatic transmission?...Please make things clera for me...thanks.:)

Looks like an early Explorer but has a 2.5 Turbo Diesel!

It's an SUV offered by ford only in the asian regions so no wonder you havn't heard of it. It was first introduced in Thailand if I'm not mistaken. It's like a bigger version of the escape and sort of like the explorer I guess.
