P1747 - Throttle Position Sensor
Hey Truck Guru's
When I purchased my 2001 F250 7.3 4 Door 4x4 in November last year, the accelerator pedal always felt like it has a dead spot.
The last few weeks, the OD light starting flashing randomly. Code reads P1747, Transmission Pressure Control Short Circuit.
If I shut off truck the light stops flashing and as long as I don't stuff the pedal to flow, the light does not flash, if I push too hard or set the cruise and the cruise accelerates hard, the light flashes.
I looked at the connector on transmission, removed, cleaned and replaced and no change.
Is it possible that the throttle position sensor or the other sensor on the accelerator is going bad? Like replace the accelerator pedal and the issue goes away?
Anyone dont this??
