I've used door decoder in tech section of FTE but cant seem to find my axle code listed. my door sticker shows "E" for trans which I found no problem but my axle code is listed as "T" on the sticker, what gives? Is decoder outdated or am I missing something, which I may be..lol
I do have window sticker for truck and it shows 3.55 just wondered why decoder didnt show it.
Check your tag again MMToy12, If I'm not mistaken axle codes are a 2 digit number on 2 wheel drive and a three digit number on 4 wheel drives. (or a combination of letters and numbers). Trans codes are letters.
I agree wrh, but once again I double checked and it says "T" why I have no idea but it does. only thing that even crossed my mind was towing package which mine has but can find nothing yet to back this up other than window sticker. I'm detailing truck now so I might lift carpet and see if I can find build sheet and compare notes. and yes it's 2wd 1995 F-150
