C6 vs. 5-speed?
89 F250HD, X-cab, 460cid, 4.10 rear and 3-speed transmission.
What I wonder is this. Would I get any MPG improvement if I had a truck just like this one but with a manual 5-speed tranny? What RPMs does one turn at highway speeds with a 5-speed? With C6, it is about 3,000 at 65.
