Parking break cable replacement
Hi all,
I just picked up a 2008 F350 dually extended cab, 6.4 diesel. 158 wb.
The parking cable was torn out. I replaced the intermediate cable and the driver rear parking brake. The passenger looked fine and the foot pedal cable also looked fine.
IF I don't pass it through the frame, I'm about an inch way from getting it locked in place. IF I do pass it through the frame then It's like 3-4in away.
Is there a trick to putting the cable back together? Also the passenger cable connection makes the driver side make a huge turn. not sure if that's right.
