A little bit of a drive, but you may want to reach out to RAYELCO in Lodi, NJ or Generator Starter & Exchange in Trenton NJ. I have not personally used either, but the seem promising and localish to you.

 

Great, thx for the info. Trenton is 40 minutes from me, Lodi about an hour. I asked several local shops if they knew anyone and no one mentioned either of these shops. Sounds promising.

This is on hold for a bit, I sent my carb to Charlie NY from the ford barn for rebuilding. I have a few other things on the agenda, brake job on my daughters car, brake job on my Volvo, brake job on the 48. I’ll be in brake hell for the next few weeks.

 

I bought a rebuilt one from Glen at Chargers Electric. He did a great job with it. He also sells on eBay. The restorations are very accurate.
