Hello all, I haven't been on this site for a very long time, and i'm usually over in the 80-86 side of things.
Onto my post here....I have a 13 F150 Platinum that i'd like to move the seat back about another few inches or so to give me some more room to stretch out (i'm 6'2" and have long legs). I have a SN-95 Mustang that I installed American Muscle's seat extender brackets in and has made the car so much more enjoyable because I actually have room to move in there now. I'd like to do the same thing here but can't find anything!!! I've tried researching everywhere and can't seem to find anything that would indicate that anyone makes these.
Has anyone attempted to make these before? I haven't looked at anything under the seat to even see if this kind of idea would be possible but any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
I've got a '14 truck with a split bench seat that is as comfortable as anything I've ever driven. I'm about 5" taller and have searched for those extenders for other vehicles, but the F150 with that seat seems to be about as good as I've found. (Ironically, the worst is probably the captain's chair(s) in my 2000 Excursion Limited. To get enough leg room I have to lean the seat back enough that the front edge pushes on my hammies enough to restrict blood flow.)
Anyway, I don't have any good advise, but I'm watching to see if anyone has found that magic bullet!
