Brake/Turn Light Electrical Issue
The bulb's good, fuses are good, the pins are all connected to the multifunction switch on the steering column, and the test light is illuminating at the socket.
What else am I missing?
Today I realized while testing the hazards, the center-cab light won't work either. I don't know if that's related, but I know it was working when I first saw the turn light was out.
The front turn light flashes fast and the indicator on the dash is illuminating.
Any help is appreciated. Obviously I need these working to be road legal so I'm on borrowed time.
edit: the above-cab bulb is also good although I didn't get a chance to test it with the light or a multimeter before it started raining

Doe that parking lamp bulb work or not? If not, check the socket ground circuit since it is shared with the stop/turn filament.
Uh, what, exactly, were you testing?

My friend was the one with the test light in his hand but he established there was power going to socket.
The parking lamp bulbs on both sides are working.
OK Dirt I'm a little slow so I need to ask
You said the center-cab light won't work either
Where is this center-cab light? I have a thought that it is called something else.
Then this
The front turn light flashes fast and the indicator on the dash is illuminating.
OK it is illuminating. Is it steady or flashing ? Fast ?slow ?

What cab bulb? If you could not test it how do you know it is good?

Do you know that behind the bumper there is a connector that goes from one side to the other on the tail lights? Power comes from up front goes to one side and the connector feeds the other side.
Sure sounds like ghost in the machine type stuff
Usually resolved by a new TS switch unless you have an old one and it's wired wrong
Yes a year in the OP is what you need
