Need your input!
Hey all, this is my friends 73, he just got it and doesn’t know to much. He sent me a video and said that it runs wierd and that it stall when he Brake. From the video he sent me it sounds like he has the idle turned up too high and probably has a manifold leak of some sorts. What do y’all think? Also what do u think that loud clicking/knocking sound may be 😬. Anyways, anything helps!

Lots of things it could be but you really need to check everything, just a general tune up and oil change to start with.
At an idle slowly cover the air horn with a rag and see if it speeds up or slows down. usually this will tell you if you have a vacuum leak.
The tick could be several things but from what I hear I'd most suspect an exhaust leak at the manifold.

If it stalls when brakes are applied, it has a serious vacuum leak. Either in the brake booster, or somewhere else.
It's difficult to pin down that clatter on video. Could be the lifters, rocker arms, exhaust leak, broken valve spring, or weak valve springs. It could be rod knock. Rod knock is when the connecting rod bearings are severely worn out, which allows the large end of the connecting rod to rattle around on the crankshaft's connecting rod journal. Bad juju.
