buying 7.3 powerstroke

a local ranch who i work for part-time is selling a single cab flatbed 7.3 i know the owner very well and iv heard good things about a 7.3 what common problems should i be aware of

Welcome to fte. Firstly, what year 7.3? Powerstroke vs idi does make a difference.

Great trucks! Especially if you are willing to turn some of the wrenches. These are simple enough that basic wrench skills will go a long way.

There are some common wear issues like leaking up pipes mentioned above. Good news is there are plenty of parts available, including upgraded parts from the aftermarket. The FTE church potluck has seen it all and can help you fix it.
