2003 6.0 Problems need help.
So I went out to go to work and truck had been sitting for a few days and started and idled fine but when I gave it pedal it had no power to hardly move. I put it in park and it would only rev up to about 2700 hear turbo but motor sounded quiet stifled and throttle had minimal to no response. After idling a while it started to run rough so I shut it off. It was low on fuel so I added 2.5 gallons. Restarted and did same idled it and got It moved to garage and couldn’t hardly make it into driveway.
So after watching YouTube we pulled EGR and cleaned it, fixed cracked MAP Boost Hose and ran hanger through MAP exhaust port found broken vacuum hose to heater valve now my AC may work better. Changed oil added Hot Shot Stiction additive. Cleaned out air housing and sprayed some throttle body cleaner in to turbo area truck would idle. Then restarted and it seemed a little better but nothing changed. after backing out of driveway it died trying to see if it would go. Now sits. Cranks and won’t start. Seems fuel related? Got Forscan ordered I just have code checker now. My next step is to try to unplug the ICP per Ron RIP. And do a fuel pressure test have to get a gauge. Any suggestions or advise would be appreciated scanner not here until Monday.
The folks that know about this sort of thing don't often frequent the "Site Announcements" forum. You'll find a lot more answers if you start a thread over in the "1999 to 2016 Super Duty" forum.
