Unfortunately no one on the thread you refer to has actually purchased and installed any of the hold downs sold by Amazon I am able to see that Amazon offers a lot of them but they don't provide dimensions for the bed rail hole. And the old Ford ones are very hard to find. Im trying to find out if anyone has recently found any that will properly fit in the bed rail stake pockets.

Ok so let me go up to the shop and test fit about 3 options I have on the shelf and take some pics for ya. The dimensions for the stake pocket are for the most part universal.
