Steering stabilizer
Hey folks. I own an 01 f250 CC 4x4. xlt package that did not come w/ a steering stabilizer. Well it needs one. Does anyone know if I need a 'kit' to get one on there, or do I have stock mounting points that would allow me to just drop one in?
I looked the other day, but I'm not sure.

Any of the lift companies like Superlift,Edge, etc. sell them. But why do you "need" one? If you have vibrations, erratic steering, or other steering problems then a stabilizer will not fix the problem but rather it is a "band aid" fix and does not solve the underlying cause.

I need one to calm the ocassional wheel shake I get when I hit a bump while going around a turn, or similar. No constant erratic steering problems, I just want to quiet the steering down a little. I think the stabilizer would be a good fix for that. Anyway, I checked out an F-250 Lariet w/a stabilizer, and I see the bracket I need.
