Brake Problem

Everytime I hit my brakes the truck pulls hard to the right. And I mean really hard.

I released the pressure on the calipers and pushed the brakes and both sides seem to clamp back equally but I can't tell for sure. I removed the pads and scuffed off the glaze. I reinstalled them on opposite sides but it is still pulling to the right.

I can't find any obvious problems like a leaking hose etc.

Any help?

The caliper slide pins may be sticking.

Is there any way to fix that without buying a whole 'nuther caliper.

Thanks
Evan

The left front caliper is not working for some reason. Either bad piston or collapsed hose, lotsa air in the line. Check the lines good.

Take them apart, clean and grease them.

brakes

ENC,

I have tried this many times and it works.

Hold the brake pedal down very very hard and then turn the tires all the way to the left and then to the right. For some reason this releases the stuck pads. Repeat if needed.

Thanks I'll try that. Hopefully it will work till I have time to take the whole thing apart.
