DVD Malfunction

DVD Malfunction
My new 2003 Excursion will play the DVD's but no sound comes out; either through the headphones or the speakers. The radio won't recognize the DVD or AUX when the back seat switch is pushed, only FM1,FM2 & AM. Is this a frequent problem? Easy solution? Thanks.

I have not worked with my DVD much yet, but I believe there is a way to disable the DVD/Aux. (I think by pushing the 3 and 5 buttons on the radio at the same time?) pushing them again re-enables it? I may be wrong, someone will be along soon to verify.

The answer to my DVD problem: They put in the wrong radio up front. They ordered me another one, to arrive next week. The radio in my Excursion was for vehicles without DVD in back.
