Hey guys, I normally hang out at the 48-56 forum but I need some help. I am getting a 55 F600 for the Ford Script bed. It is in great shape but it is missing the "rear stake rack lock." This is designed to lock in the rear stakes so they don't bounce out when going over a bump.
So if anyone one here has a Ford flatbed that has the piece and you were not planning on using the bed cause it is too far gone or whatever, I would be interested in buying this stake lock. It looks like this on the 61 to 79 Ford flatbeds:

If you can't find one, I'm guessing that it might not be too hard for someone to fabricate. If the only visible part of the lock is that lever sticking out, then the lock just needs to work, and only the lever has to look right.
And if you haven't yet, you can try searching the part number or engineering number, and seeing if there is a more common application for that lock - probably a dead end, but worth a shot if no one has tried.

Thanks meangreen. Others on other forums have suggested that. But I don't know what the bracket looks like. Who knows, I might find the piece in the glove box.
