Help

Hey everyone,, just joined,, I have a question for anyone that can help me,,, I have a 1992 f150 with a 302 and an automatic overdrive it is a 4x4 I took out all of my fuel injection and put in a carburetor and a new distributor and intake I am having hard problems with my aod transmission and TV linkage,,, I also have a 1965 352 with a four-speed behind it I was wondering if it would be worth putting in a 1992 f150 4x4

If you're trying to use the Factory AOD TV cable, with a carburetor, it won't work correctly. I suggest not driving it until you get the right cable, or you *will* burn the transmission up.

I use the Lokar cable kit, on carbureted applications.

No. I mean, yes, you can make it work, and the 352 is a good engine, but *nothing* is going to line up, and you're going to be fabricating a hell of alot of stuff.

Instructions, painfully long and detailed, but not as painful as burning up your transmission.
