First off I'm a new member on this site and my name is John. I recently purchased a 1966 Ford F-100 short bed truck that has been restored pretty well except for the minor mods I will make. The truck was missing the emblems on the sides that had been removed and filled. I was able to get the location for the fender emblem on these threads which really helped. Would anyone have the hole locations for the custom cab emblem. I can eyeball them but a measurement would make life easier.
Have the holes been filled with Bondo or steel? If Bondo you can go inside the door and feel around for the Bondi dot and tap it with a small hammer, from the outside. If it's steel, well. I can measure my doors. I'll have to get back to you though
Thanks for getting back at this point I don't know I will be removing the access panel soon so I can check it could go either way for sure although the rebuild was done well. I can let you know once I check. It will be over the weekend most likely.
Sitting in traffic this morning I remembered your post, the door logo is level with the door handle and is approx two inches in front of the same. As far as the holes go, I can't say with the thing installed.
I just put a tape measure across my '66 F250 driver door, from the front edge to center of first hole (post for the 'C' in Custom) I'd call it ~13-7/16". On the passenger side the front edge to first hole (post for 'b' in Cab) was ~13-5/8".
