There is no paint code for the red. It is a base coat from a small company that only makes a few colors called Southern Polyurethane Inc. www.southernpolyurethanes.com It is their "Dark Red". I also used their clear and have been for several years. Good quality stuff. The white is just the stock "oxford white" which is the original color of the truck.
I still have the seats and plan on putting them in another truck. While arguing the value of the truck with the insurance company, they told me to keep the seats, the large radio, and anything else that I added that was easily removed which wasn't much.
Since you are asking these questions, I assume you are going to rebuild it. I'll be excited to see it done again and will be happy to answer any other questions.
So #2 main spun, #4 cylinder started to scrape, nothing real major. ford has blocks available now. so back to assembly.
Did you happen to leave wiring in the truck for sync 3? I have a apim here at the shop id just have to find a steering wheel. but was curious if the wiring is there.
how much would you want for those red seats? find me at npdiesel.com
Glad to see its not too bad and I'm glad the truck ended up with someone that can fix the engine instead of buying a new expensive crate engine.
The truck originally had sync and that is the original radio so the wiring should be there for it. It should just take any steering wheel with buttons. If you want to go with the 8" sync radio, there is another harness you'll need. I ended up putting all the stuff I pulled from that truck into another one so I don't have any of it for sale.
Here's my new truck. I stayed red and white but with a drastically different direction.
