I saw people were using the Veepeak bluetooth ( ). Which app should i go with on the phone?

I have an android phone. Google searches are useless on some stuff b/c it seems to pull up old threads and some stuff might change. That's why i start a new thread on this.

So, thats still the right thing to do for a cheapie scanner?

I do not have experience with the Veepeak unit, but I think there are folks on the forum that use it with success.
